Points are earned strictly through the purchase of cinema tickets. Concession stand purchases (snacks, beverages, merchandise) do not generate points.
Points are earned strictly on the final amount paid (net of all discounts).
e.g. A P321.00 discounted payment (SC/PWD) earns 3.2 points, while a P450.00 full payment earns 4.5 points.
Only whole points can be redeemed. Fractional points (decimals) will not expire and will be carried over to the user's next transaction.
Accumulated points remain valid for twelve (12) months from the date of the last recorded transaction. Inactivity beyond 12 months results in point forfeiture.
Each user is restricted to one Poppie account linked to one unique mobile device to prevent "point farming."
Points and vouchers have no cash value. Any attempt to sell rewards on third-party marketplaces will result in immediate account deletion.
Points are credited exclusively when the cashier scans the user's unique Poppie app QR code directly from their mobile device during the live transaction. Physical receipts do not contain scannable codes and cannot be used to claim points retroactively.
To accommodate legitimate family and group purchases while preventing behavioral system abuse (e.g., shoulder surfing at the counter), point accumulation is strictly capped at a maximum of five (5) ticket purchases per unique movie title, per account.
2. Snack Reward Provisions (Exclusion Clause)
Concession upgrades can only be applied to standard snack bar purchases.
Poppie points cannot be used to alter, upgrade, or substitute the complimentary food and beverage inclusions that come packaged with premium tickets (such as Director's Club meals).
All concession upgrades are subject to the daily stock availability at the participating cinema's snack bar.
Snack rewards (Bucket Upgrades, Solo Drinks, and Bundles) are exclusive to Regular (Full-Paying) accounts.
Senior Citizen and PWD accounts are ineligible to redeem Poppie snack rewards.
Per Philippine law Republic Act No. 10754 (An Act Expanding the Benefits and Privileges of Persons with Disability) and Republic Act No. 9994 (Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010), SC/PWD users already receive a mandatory 20% discount + VAT exemption on food and beverages (BIR Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 71-2022). Poppie snack rewards cannot be used in conjunction with these statutory benefits.
Once points are converted into a Snack Voucher, it must be redeemed within the same day.
3. Discounted Ticket Provisions
Strictly for Standard 2D Cinema. Not valid for IMAX, Director's Club, 4D/4DX, or A-Luxe screenings.
The 20% discount applies to a single movie ticket per 15-point redemption.
4. Free Cinema Ticket Provisions
A total of 45 points must be accumulated to qualify for one (1) Free Cinema Ticket.
Valid only for standard 2D movie screenings prices
Strictly for Standard 2D Cinema. Not valid for IMAX, Director's Club, 4D/4DX, or A-Luxe screenings.
Cannot be redeemed for "Special Events" (e.g., Film Festivals, fan screenings, concerts, or private block-screenings).
SC/PWD accounts must match the Government ID presented at the counter. Vouchers are non-transferable.
Free Ticket Vouchers must be used within the same day of conversion.
5. Quezon City (QC) Special Ordinances
Tickets obtained through the QC Government Free Cinema Admission are ineligible for Poppie points as no monetary transaction occurred.
Poppie Free Tickets cannot be redeemed during government-mandated free admission hours/days for Seniors.
